CHAPTER 208 AN ACT DESIGNATING THE SECOND WEDNESDAY OF APRIL AS GEORGE DEMETER DAY, IN HONOR OF HIS OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO THE PARLIAMENTARY PROCESS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the second Wednesday in April, April being the month designated as National Parliamentary Month, as George Demeter Day, in honor of George Demeter's contributions to the parliamentary process and his dedication to the protection of the rights of individuals by insuring an orderly process by which all organizations and deliberative bodies can make decisions.
