Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The dam on Lake avenue in the city of Woburn shall be designated and known as the William J. Scalley dam in honor of William J. Scalley, a former member and president of the city council of said city. A suitable marker bearing said designation shall be attached thereto by the appropriate agency.
