CHAPTER 22 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF MENDON TO TRANSFER A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The town of Mendon, acting by and through its conservation commission, is hereby authorized to transfer a certain parcel of conservation land to the management of the park department for recreational use. Said parcel being bounded and described as follows:

A 16,367 square foot parcel of land located on the southerly side of Nipmuc Woods easterly of Taft Avenue and northerly of Millville Road.

Beginning at the southwesterly corner at a drill hole at a corner of walls on the northerly property line between Memorial Field and Nipmuc Woods,

THENCE: North-79-26-10-East, a distance of 120-feet to a point on the wall by Memorial Field,

THENCE: North-10-33-50-West, a distance of 140-feet by land of Nipmuc Woods to a corner,

THENCE: South-79-26-10-West a distance of 120-feet by land of Nipmuc Woods to a corner,

THENCE: South-10-33-50-East, a distance of 88.15-feet by land of Nipmuc Woods to a corner between Nipmuc Woods and Memorial Field on a wall,

THENCE: North-76-17-03-East, a distance of 16.72-feet to a stake at a corner of walls by land of Memorial Field,

THENCE: South-06-59-16-West, a distance of 55.35-feet by a wall to the point of beginning.
