Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Chapter 93 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1988 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section:-

Section 101. Any rights granted to consumers under the provisions of any law or regulation enacted or promulgated by the commonwealth or any political subdivision thereof providing protection of such consumers' health, safety or welfare shall not be waived by agreement or otherwise unless specifically permitted by such law or regulation.
