CHAPTER 252 AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE DIRECTOR OF STANDARDS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
The first paragraph of section 29 of chapter 98 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1988 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the third sentence the following sentence:- The division may also approve weighing and measuring devices for which certificates of conformance have been issued by the National Institute of Standards and Technology under the National Type Evaluation program.
