Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 7 of chapter 28A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1988 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

Local councils may enter into contracts with local or regional associations for cooperative endeavors, receive or solicit funds and apply for or accept any federal, state, local or private grants, bequests, gifts or contributions, in accordance with guidelines established by the office and shall submit an annual report to the commissioner, and to both the house and senate committees on ways and means itemizing all funds received and expended.
