CHAPTER 264 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF MARBLEHEAD TO PAY A CERTAIN UNPAID BILL.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The town of Marblehead is hereby authorized to appropriate money for the payment of, and after such appropriation, the treasurer of said town is authorized to pay to Marblehead Trading Company the sum of seven thousand two hundred thirty-four dollars and ninety-four cents for repairs to the police boat of said town, notwithstanding the failure of said town to comply with the appropriate provisions of law relative to competitive bidding in the awarding of the contract.
