Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 25 of chapter 114 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1988 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the second sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- The town treasurer shall invest all such funds in accordance with the stipulations, if any, accompanying them; otherwise he shall invest them as ordered by said commissioners and pay the income therefrom upon their order or with their approval.
