CHAPTER 34 AN ACT EXTENDING THE TIME FOR FILING FOR CERTAIN ABATEMENTS IN THE TOWN OF LEXINGTON.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section fifty-nine of chapter fifty-nine of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the board of assessors of the town of Lexington is hereby authorized to receive abatement applications for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and eighty-seven from those owners of property shown on assessors map 21 whose property was incorrectly assessed until December thirty-first, nineteen hundred and eighty-nine.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
