CHAPTER 367 AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE ON INTERSTATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 84 IN THE TOWN OF STURBRIDGE AS THE WILLIAM "BILL" SWIACKI MEMORIAL BRIDGE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The bridge carrying Interstate highway Route 84 over state highway Route 20 in the town of Sturbridge shall be known and designated as the William "Bill" Swiacki Memorial Bridge, in memory of William Swiacki, a former chairman of the school committee in the town of Sturbridge, and enshrined in the Football Hall of Fame. A suitable marker bearing such designation shall be erected by the department of public works in compliance with the standards of said department and as authorized by the federal bureau of public roads.
