Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section twenty-nine of chapter fifty-eight of the General Laws is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. Section 29 of chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1988 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 20, the words "April first" and inserting in place thereof the words:- a reasonable later time but in no event later than thirty days after the mailing of the tax bills for the fiscal year to which the filing relates.

SECTION 3. Section 86 of said chapter 59, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 6 to 9, inclusive, the words ", and shall also forward such lists and statements required by section twenty-nine relative to real and personal property exempt from taxation under said clause as have been received by them".
