Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The town of Holliston is hereby authorized to transfer the care, custody and control of certain parcels of land presently under the control of the board of selectmen and the conservation commission of said town to the conservation commission to be used for conservation and open space purposes.

Said parcels are described as follows:-

1. approximately 12.4. acres, more or less, shown as lot 1 on Assessors Map 3, Block 1 located west of Hanlon Road along the Milford and Hopkinton town lines;

2. approximately 25.4 acres, more or less, shown as lot 2 on Assessors Map 3, Block 1, located west of Hanlon Road near the Milford town line;

3. approximately 4.5 acres, more or less, shown as lot 5 on Assessors Map 7, Block 2, located west of Hanlon Road;

4. approximately 5.6 acres, more or less, shown as lot 4 on Assessors Map 7, Block 2, located west of Hanlon Road;

5. approximately 9.8 acres, more or less, shown as lot 3 on Assessors Map 7, Block 2, located west of Adams Street.

SECTION 2. The town of Holliston is hereby authorized to transfer the care, custody and control of certain parcels of land presently under the control of the board of selectmen and conservation commission of said town to the board of selectmen to be used as a town forest.

Said parcels are described as follows:-

1. approximately 39.62 acres, more or less, shown as lot 3 on Assessors Map 3, Block 1, located west of Adams Street near the Milford town line;

2. approximately 161.7 acres, more or less, shown as lot 4 on Assessors Map 3, Block 1, located west of Adams street along the Milford town line;

3. approximately 4 acres, more or less, shown as lot 72 on Assessors Map 4, Block 2, located west of Adams Street;

4. approximately 9.4. acres, more or less, shown as lot 42 on Assessors Map 4, Block 2, located west of Adams Street.
