CHAPTER 414 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF BRAINTREE TO REIMBURSE CERTAIN EXCISE TAXES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Braintree is hereby authorized to appropriate for the payment of and after such appropriation the treasurer of said town is authorized to pay to Thomas J. Moakley the sum of two hundred and thirty-five dollars, such sum being reimbursement for motor vehicle excise taxes paid in error for a motor vehicle excise tax for the year nineteen hundred and eighty-seven.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
