CHAPTER 421 AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ANNUAL OBSERVANCE OF GEOGRAPHIC EDUCATION AWARENESS WEEK.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15LLL, inserted by chapter 294 of the acts of 1989, the following section:-
Section 15MMM. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the second week of November as Geographic Education Awareness Week, in recognition of the need of all citizens of the commonwealth to further their knowledge of geographic matters, and recommending that said week be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
