CHAPTER 445 AN ACT DESIGNATING THE SONG "MASSACHUSETTS (BECAUSE OF YOU OUR LAND IS FREE)" AS THE OFFICIAL PATRIOTIC SONG OF THE COMMONWEALTH.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
Chapter 2 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:-
Section 31. The song "Massachusetts (Because of You Our Land Is Free)", words and music by Bernard Davidson, shall be the patriotic song of the commonwealth.
