Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Chapter 52 of the acts of 1874 is hereby amended by striking out section 1 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

Section 1. The Trustees of the Congregational Ministerial Fund for the First Parish in the town of Medford, a corporation established by chapter one hundred and thirty of the acts of eighteen hundred and twenty-seven are authorized to receive and hold the estates, real and personal in any amount and may appropriate at the annual meeting of the said trustees an amount out of the said annual income to the payment of the salary of the minister of the parish, now known as the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford, Massachusetts, Inc.; said appropriation is not to exceed the amount of the said annual income less administrative expenses and the remainder, if any, of such income is to be appropriated to the purposes which by law they may now appropriate the same.
