Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 22 of chapter 503 of the acts of 1952 is hereby amended by striking out the first two sentences and inserting in place thereof the following two sentences:- The town manager, subject to the approval of the board of selectmen, shall appoint a board of library trustees to consist of seven suitably qualified persons. One of said persons shall be appointed for a term of one year, two for a term of two years, and four for a term of three years; and annually thereafter there shall be appointed by the town manager, subject to the approval of the board of selectmen, a member for a term of three years in the place of the member whose term is to expire.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
