CHAPTER 537 AN ACT EXEMPTING THE POSITIONS OF SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGER AND SUPERVISOR OF ATTENDANCE IN THE CITY KNOWN AS THE TOWN OF METHUEN FROM THE PROVISIONS OF CIVIL SERVICE LAW.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The positions of business manager and supervisor of attendance in the school department of the city known as the town of Methuen shall not be subject to the provisions of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.

SECTION 2. The provisions of section one shall not impair the civil service status of any person employed as school business manager or supervisor of attendance on the effective date of this act.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
