Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The board of selectmen of the town of Ayer shall have and exercise all the powers, rights and duties now or from time to time vested by any general or special law in the board of public works and the board of water commissioners.

SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary any actions taken by the board of selectmen of the town of Ayer acting as the board of public works or the board of water commissioners prior to the effective date of this act are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed as if section one was in effect at the time such actions were taken.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
