Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The deputy commissioner of the division of capital planning and operations is hereby authorized subject to the provisions of section forty F 1/2 of chapter seven of the General Laws, to convey by deed approved as to form by the attorney general, a certain parcel of land located in the town of Peru, to Howard H. Blake, subject to such terms and conditions as the deputy commissioner may prescribe in consultation with the division of wildlife and fisheries.

Said land being bounded and described as follows:-

Beginning at a point which marks the intersection of the northerly line of the road leading from Hinsdale to East Windsor and the easterly line of land conveyed by the Grantor herein to Robert W. Torrey, et ux, by deed dated May 25, 1953, recorded in the Berkshire Middle District Registry of Deeds in Book 599, Page 229; running thence in said easterly line of the said line so conveyed to said Torrey, 300 feet more or less to an old stone wall; thence easterly along said old stone wall 300 feet more or less to the point where said old stone wall intersects the westerly line of the brook; thence southerly along the westerly line of the brook to its intersection with the said northerly line of the road first above mentioned; thence southwesterly in said northerly line of said road 300 feet more or less to the place of beginning.

SECTION 2. It shall be a condition of the conveyance authorized in section one that Howard H. Blake shall have signed an agreement relinquishing any and all rights he or his heirs, successors, or assigns may be, or may have been entitled to for compensation, including interest accrued thereon, either from the commonwealth or the said town of Peru for reimbursement for any or all back taxes which the said grantee in title has paid on the parcel described in section one from the time of taking to the date of conveyance.
