Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. The town of Plainville is hereby authorized to transfer the care, custody and control of a certain parcel of land presently under the care, custody and control of the conservation commission and town forest committee of said town to the board of water commissioners to be used for water supply purposes.
Said parcel is drawn as a part of lots 73, 74 and 75 on board of Assessors Map 7, and of lot 39 on board of Assessors Map 11.
SECTION 2. The town of Plainville is hereby authorized to transfer care, custody and control of a certain parcel of land presently under the care, custody and control of the town forest committee to the board of water commissioners to be used for water supply purposes.
Said parcel is bounded and described as follows:-
Beginning at a point on East Bacon Street at the southwesterly corner of land of the town of Plainville now under the care, custody, management and control of the Board of Water Commissioners; thence running S 81<= 54' 10" W along East Bacon Street a distance of 349.87 feet, more or less, to a bound at a curve having a radius of 150.00 feet; thence running along said curve a distance of 177.41 feet, more or less; thence running N 30<= 19' 55" a distance of 210.00 feet, more or less, to a point; thence turning and running N 81<= 54' 10" E a distance 420.00 feet, more or less to a point; thence turning and running S 35<= 07' 59" E a distance of 330 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. Said transfer under the provisions of this act shall be subject to the restriction that said land shall be used only for, or in connection with water purposes and that said land shall revert to said town if used for any other purpose.
