CHAPTER 641 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF LYNN TO HOLD A CERTAIN SPECIAL ELECTION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law or ordinance to the contrary the city of Lynn is hereby authorized to conduct a preliminary and election for the purpose of filling a vacancy in the office of councillor for Ward 4 in said city.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
