CHAPTER 697 AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE GRANTING OF LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF WINE AND MALT BEVERAGES IN THE TOWN OF PEPPERELL.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The following question shall be placed upon the official ballot to be used for the election of town officers at the annual town election for the town of Pepperell to be held in the year nineteen hundred and ninety `tm;w=w-20

"Shall licenses be granted in the town of Pepperell for the sale therein of wine and malt beverages (wines and beer, ale and all other malt beverages) to be drunk on the premises " YES NO `tm;w=w

If a majority of the votes cast in said town in answer to said question is in the affirmative, said town shall be taken to have authorized, for the nineteen hundred and ninety calendar year the sale of wine and malt beverages to be drunk on the premises.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
