Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The city of Westfield is hereby authorized to grant an easement to the Western Massachusetts Electric Company in certain park land of said city located in the town of Russell.

Said easement is shown on a plan entitled "Western Massachusetts Electric Co., West Springfield, Mass., Plan Showing Easement to be Acquired from John S. Lane & Son, Inc., & others in the city of Westfield and Town of Russell, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Scale: 1"=80' date: July 17, 1987, No. 75625", a copy of which is on file in the office of the city solicitor of the city of Westfield.

The instrument containing said easement may contain such restrictions and conditions as the city of Westfield may approve and as agreed to by the mayor and city council of said city. Said plan and instrument are to be recorded in the registry of deeds in the county of Hampden.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
