CHAPTER 124 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF QUINCY TO GRANT A CERTAIN EASEMENT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The city of Quincy, acting by and through its city council is hereby authorized to grant an easement in certain park land in said city for the purpose of providing temporary construction easements and a permanent easement to allow for placement of a portion of the west Quincy relief interceptor sewer. Said easement is described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the westerly side of Joyce Road, N 04<=-29'-18" W, twenty and twenty-five hundredths (20.25) feet from a stone bound at the northwest intersection of Quarry Street and Joyce Road;

Thence, N 77<=-51'-45" W three hundred fifty-three and eighty-five hundredths (353.85) feet;

Thence, N 71<=-34'-25" W one hundred two and twenty-six hundredths (102.26) feet;

Thence, S 63<=-28'-10" W fifty-two and twenty-eight hundredths (52.28) feet to the northerly line of Quarry Street;

Thence, on a curve line to the right with a radius of eleven hundred seventy-four and no hundredths (1174.00) feet a distance of one hundred eighty-seven and one hundredth (187.01) feet by Quarry Street;

Thence, S 69<=-38'-05" E one hundred fifty-three and fifty hundredths (153.50) feet;

Thence, N 63<=-20'-10" E forty-four and fourteen hundredths (44.14) feet;

Thence, S 71<=-34'-25" E one hundred thirty-seven and seventy-four hundredths (137.74) feet;

Thence, S 77<=-51'-45" E three hundred forty-six and seventy-eight hundredths (346.78) feet to the westerly side of Joyce Road;

Thence, S 04<=-29'-18" E twenty and eighty-seven hundredths (20.87) feet by the westerly line of Joyce Road to the point of beginning, and containing 13,694 square feet of land as shown on an "Easement Plan of Land in Quincy, Mass., Scale: 1" = 40'" by Whitman & Howard, Inc., and dated April 17, 1990.

Also included is a ten foot temporary construction easement located on the northerly side of the permanent easement and a ten foot temporary construction easement located on the south side of the permanent easement, as shown on said plan.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
