CHAPTER 142 AN ACT RELATIVE TO APPRAISALS AS A PREREQUISITE TO THE PAYMENT OF DAMAGES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
Section 7A of chapter 79 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1988 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- Notwithstanding the foregoing, no appraisal shall be made by the taking authority if all persons entitled to damages by reason of such taking waive, in writing, their right to any damages.
