CHAPTER 155 AN ACT RELATIVE TO EXAMINATIONS BY THE BOARD OF CERTIFICATION OF HEALTH OFFICERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 64 of chapter 13 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1988 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 4 and 5, the words "four of whom shall be registered chiropractors, two of whom shall be registered physicians" and inserting in place thereof the words:- six of whom shall be registered chiropractors.

SECTION 2. Said section 64 of said chapter 13, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out the last sentence.

SECTION 3. The second paragraph of section 87XXX of chapter 112 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- If the board deems the educational qualifications of an applicant are satisfactory and if such applicant passes a written examination satisfactory to the board, the board shall issue to him a certificate.
