Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 4 of chapter 267 of the acts of 1928, as amended by section 1 of chapter 45 of the acts of 1982, is hereby further amended by adding the following sentence:- Said city, acting by its board of water commissioners, may lease to said city, acting by its mayor, the exclusive right to occupy, use and operate all or any part of the buildings, machinery, equipment and appurtenances erected or otherwise acquired by said board of water commissioners for the generation of electricity.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
