Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The bridge on state highway Route 3A which crosses the Shawsheen river in the town of Billerica shall be designated and known as the Paul F. Newman Bridge. Suitable markers bearing said designation shall be attached thereto by the department of public works in compliance with the standards of said department.
