CHAPTER 253 AN ACT RELATIVE TO A CERTAIN PROBATION OFFICER OF THE TRIAL COURT.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to immediately establish a sick leave bank for a certain probation officer, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding any general or special law or any rule or regulation to the contrary, the trial court of the commonwealth is hereby authorized and directed to establish a sick leave bank for probation officer Peter L'Etoile. Each employee in the bargaining unit represented by Local 254 S.E.I.U. may voluntarily contribute one or more of their sick days to said bank for use by probation officer L'Etoile.

Approved October 30, 1990.
