Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section seventeen of chapter one hundred and thirty-eight of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the city of Haverhill is hereby authorized to issue a license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages, not to be drunk on the premises, to Academy Plaza Trust under the provisions of section fifteen of said chapter one hundred and thirty-eight. Said license shall be subject to all the provisions of said chapter one hundred and thirty-eight except said section seventeen; provided, however, that the granting of this license shall reduce by one any increase in licenses granted due to census reapportionment under said section seventeen.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
