Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 21 of chapter 40 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1988 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the last paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-

The penalty for violation of any ordinance or by-law made hereunder shall not be less than twenty-five dollars nor more than one hundred dollars and the vehicle may be removed according to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty D of chapter two hundred and sixty-six.

SECTION 2. Section 22A of said chapter 40, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 42, the word "may" and inserting in place thereof the following word:- shall.

SECTION 3. Said section 22A of said chapter 40, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word "dollars", in line 69, the following words:- and may provide for the removal of a vehicle in accordance with the provisions of section twenty-two D.
