CHAPTER 373 AN ACT EXEMPTING A CERTAIN POSITION IN THE SCHOOL DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF TAUNTON FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE LAW.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The positions of high school security officer in the school department of the city of Taunton shall be exempt from the provisions of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.

SECTION 2. The provisions of section one shall not impair the civil service status of any person holding the position of high school security officer in the school department of the city of Taunton on the effective date of this act.
