Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. The deputy commissioner of capital planning and operations is hereby authorized and directed, subject to the provisions of sections forty E to forty J, inclusive, of chapter seven of the General Laws, to convey by deed approved as to form by the attorney general, a permanent easement for highway purposes over a certain parcel of land in the city of Worcester under the control and custody of the board of regents of higher education and presently used for educational purposes to the city of Worcester for highway purposes in conjunction with improvements to Belmont and Plantation streets. Said parcel of land is shown on a plan entitled "Plan of Land in Worcester, Massachusetts to be conveyed as a permanent easement for street purposes to the City of Worcester by Commonwealth of Massachusetts, University of Massachusetts Scale 1" = 20' October 4, 1989 Bayside Engineering Associates, Incorporated Boston, Massachusetts", which plan shall be kept on file with the chief engineer of the department of public works.
SECTION 2. The deputy commissioner of capital planning and operations is hereby authorized and directed, subject to the provisions of sections forty E to forty J, inclusive, of chapter seven of the General Laws, to convey by deed approved as to form by the attorney general, a permanent easement for highway purposes over a certain parcel of land in the city of Worcester under the control and custody of the department of mental health and presently used for mental health purposes to the city of Worcester for highway purposes in conjunction with improvements to Belmont and Plantation streets. Said parcel of land is more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point opposite Station 64+00 on the Belmont Street centerline then running.
South 86<=-45'-38" East for a distance of two hundred one and 00/100 feet (201.00') to a point then turning and running.
South 81<=-03'-00" East for a distance of five hundred sixteen and 75/100 feet (516.75') to a point.
Then turning and running along a curve to the left whose radius is twenty-eight and 00/100 feet (28.00') and whose length is thirty and 43/100 feet (30.43') to a non-tangent point then turning and running.
South 81<=-03'-00" East for a distance of seven and 00/100 feet (7.00') to a point then turning and running.
South 04<=-19'-53" East for a distance of thirty-five and 95/100 feet (35.95') to a point then turning and running along Belmont Street.
North 81<=-03'-00" West for a distance of seven hundred fifty-six and 79/100 feet (756.79') to the point of beginning.
Containing 13,326 square feet more or less.
