Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. In order to fulfill a moral obligation and notwithstanding the provisions of section nine of chapter thirty-two B of the General Laws or of any other general or special law to the contrary, James J. Riley shall be deemed to have continued all insurance coverages with Norfolk county in accordance with the provisions of the third paragraph of said section nine and therefore shall be eligible to continue such insurance coverages with said county in accordance with the provisions of the first paragraph of said section nine, subject to the provisions of section nine A or nine E of said chapter thirty-two B, whichever may be applicable.

SECTION 2. The provisions of section one of this act shall take effect upon acceptance by the county commissioners in Norfolk county.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
