CHAPTER 449 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF NORFOLK TO HOLD TOWN MEETINGS IN THE KING PHILIP REGIONAL DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the town of Norfolk, with the approval of the King Philip regional school committee, is hereby authorized to hold its regular and special town meetings in the King Philip regional high school building in the town of Wrentham; provided, however, that a meeting for the election by official ballot of federal, state or other officials or any referendum ballot questions, shall be held within the limits of the town of Norfolk.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
