CHAPTER 453 AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF EVERETT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter three hundred and nineteen of the acts of nineteen hundred and twenty-seven is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. The board of park commissioners of the city of Everett shall have all the powers and duties now vested in the Everett stadium and athletic field commission and all assets and liabilities of said commission shall be transferred to said board.

SECTION 3. Notwithstanding the provisions of section two of chapter forty-five of the General Laws, the board of park commissioners in the city of Everett shall consist of seven members, five of whom shall be appointed under the provisions of said section two of said chapter forty-five and one of whom shall be the principal of Everett high school, ex officio, and one of whom shall be a member of the Everett school committee who shall be appointed by the mayor of the city of Everett.

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
