CHAPTER 81 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE DIVISION OF CAPITAL PLANNING AND OPERATIONS TO CONVEY A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND IN THE TOWN OF AMHERST TO JAY GARFIELD AND BLAINE GARSON.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The deputy commissioner of the division of capital planning and operations is hereby authorized, subject to the provisions of sections forty E to forty J, inclusive, of chapter seven of the General Laws, to sell and convey by deed approved as to form by the attorney general, a certain parcel of land located in the town of Amherst, to Jay Garfield and Blaine Garson subject to such terms and conditions as the deputy commissioner may prescribe, in consultation with the department of environmental management. Said parcel is bounded and described as follows:

Beginning at an iron pipe, Massachusetts Grid Coordinate N 495,900.501, E 328,488.779; said pipe is located at Station 4824+78.9, as shown on the plan of the Boston and Maine Corporation Right-of-way, dated 11-21-84 and stamped by Corwin H. Rose, R.L.S. Thence

S 58< 28' 24" E, a distance of 10.00 feet to a point; with Massachusetts grid coordinate of N 495,895.271, E 328,480.256; thence along a curve having a radius of 1605.75 feet, a distance of 185.26 feet to a point in the northerly sideline of South East Street, Mass. Grid Coordinate of N 496,058.424, E 328,392.726; thence

N 9<= 34' 08" W, a distance of 39.30 feet along the layout line of South East Street to a point as shown in the original layout of the Boston and Maine Railroad right-of-way, with a Mass. Grid Coordinate of N 496,097.172, E 328,386.194; thence along a curve of radius of 1595.75 feet, a distance of 221.99 feet, to the point of origin. Said commencing point is referenced by a second iron pipe located N 62< 32' 59" E, a distance of 47.06 feet from beginning pipe. (See Plan Book 78, Page 34, By Almer Huntley and Associates, R.L.S.). Said Parcel containing approximately 2,195 square feet or .0504 Acres.
