Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The town treasurer of the town of Millville is hereby authorized to pay from available funds to Rogers Excavating, Inc. a sum not to exceed twelve thousand three hundred twenty-one dollars and forty-five cents pursuant to said contracts for road repairs, notwithstanding the failure of the town to comply with appropriate provisions of law relative to competitive bidding in the awarding of the contract.
