Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
Notwithstanding the provisions of section twenty A> of chapter ninety of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the town of Scituate, acting by and through its board of selectmen, is hereby authorized to establish by rule or regulation a schedule of fines for violations subject to said section twenty A> committed within such town; provided, however, that all such fines shall be uniform for the same offense committed in the same zone or district, if any; and provided, further, that any fines established under the provisions of this act shall not exceed fifty dollars whether such fine is paid within twenty-one days or later.
