Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 127A of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1990 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "offense", in line 4, the words:- or not more than twenty-five thousand dollars or up to two years in a house of correction for violations involving the improper disposal of infectious or physically dangerous medical or biological waste.
