Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
Section 50 of chapter 7 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1988
Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "senate", in
line 12, the words:- , the general court not having prorogued within said
forty-five days.
The engrossed bill had been laid before His Excellency the Governor on the
third day of July, 1991, and after ten days had the force of a law, as
prescribed by the Constitution, as the Governor returned the same with no
objections stated therein (see House document numbered 6435).
