CHAPTER 11 AN ACT PLACING THE OFFICE OF CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE CITY OF PITTSFIELD UNDER THE CIVIL SERVICE LAW.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter two hundred and four of the acts of nineteen hundred and eighty-one is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. The office of chief of police of the city of Pittsfield shall be subject to the provisions of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
