CHAPTER 113 AN ACT EXEMPTING THE POSITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE COUNCIL ON AGING IN THE CITY KNOWN AS THE TOWN OF METHUEN FROM THE PROVISIONS OF CIVIL SERVICE LAW.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The position of administrative assistant to the executive director of the council on aging in the city known as the town of Methuen shall not be subject to the provisions of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.

SECTION 2. The provisions of section one shall not impair the civil service status of any person holding the position of administrative assistant to the executive director of the council on aging in the city known as the town of Methuen on the effective date of this act.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
