CHAPTER 117 AN ACT PROVIDING CIVIL SERVICE STATUS FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE MUNICIPAL LIGHTING PLANT OF THE CITY OF TAUNTON.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws or any other general or special law or rule to the contrary, the following provisional employees of the municipal lighting plant of the city of Taunton shall be granted permanent civil service status in their positions after a performance review by the appointing authority: Richard Bolduc, instrument technician, Mark Blackwell, Jr., assistant storekeeper, Joseph McKenna, assistant storekeeper, and William Lyons, instrument technician.
