Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. The commissioner of the division of capital planning and operations is hereby authorized and directed, subject to the provisions of sections forty E to forty J, inclusive, of chapter seven of the General Laws, to sell and convey, by deed approved as to form by the attorney general, a certain parcel of land located in the town of Concord, presently or formerly utilized as a portion of a correctional facility, to an individual or entity, subject to the requirements of sections two and three and to such additional terms and conditions as the commissioner, in consultation with the department of correction, may prescribe, said land being on route 2A in said town of Concord, as noted by Assessor parcel number 1999-1 representing approximately twenty-seven acres as recorded in plan 696 (b of 2) of 1931, recorded in book 5578 on page 569 in the southern district of the registry of deeds in the county of Middlesex; and land on route 2 in Concord as noted by Assessor parcel number 2010 representing approximately twenty-two thousand square feet.
SECTION 2. The grantee of the property conveyed pursuant to section one shall assume the costs of any appraisals, surveys and other expenses as are deemed necessary by the commissioner to carry out the provisions of this act.
SECTION 3. In consideration for the conveyance authorized pursuant to section one, the grantee shall convey land to the commonwealth or provide such other form of compensation as may be determined by the commissioner.
