Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The town of Easton is hereby authorized, subject to the approval of the secretary of environmental affairs, to transfer care, custody and control of certain parcels of land in said town which were acquired for conservation purposes from the conservation commission to the water division of the department of public works for the construction of a pump house and the installation of four well sites. Said parcels are shown on a plan of land entitled, "Plan to Show Water Division Land at Wheaton Well Sites, Easton, Mass.", dated January seventeenth, nineteen hundred and ninety-two which is on file in the office of said water division.
