Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, the trial court of the commonwealth is hereby authorized and directed to establish a sick leave bank for probation officer John T. Lunardini. Each employee in the bargaining unit represented by Local 254 S.E.I.U. may voluntarily contribute one or more of his personal, vacation or sick days to said bank for use by said probation officer John T. Lunardini.
