CHAPTER 109 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF LINCOLN TO TRANSFER A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND TO THE WATER COMMISSIONERS OF SAID TOWN.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The town of Lincoln is hereby authorized to transfer custody and control of a certain parcel of land to the water commissioners of said town for the purpose of constructing and operating thereon the water treatment facilities authorized under Article 1 of the Warrant for the March twenty-seventh, nineteen hundred and ninety-three special town meeting, said parcel is on a plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lincoln, Massachusetts, 1" = 40'", dated March 10, 1993, prepared by John R. Snelling Associates, Professional Land Surveyors, which is on file with the town clerk. Provided, that no more of the land transferred necessary for the construction and operation of the contact tank disinfection facility be used and that any expansion of the use of the parcel beyond that necessary for the construction of the facility shall require the approval of town meeting.
