Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 8 of chapter 554 of the acts of 1971, as amended by section 1 of chapter 1097 of the acts of 1973, is hereby further amended by adding the following subsection:-

(q) To establish and maintain an insurance fund to pay workmen's compensation under the provisions of sections thirteen A and thirteen C of chapter forty of the General Laws, as if it were a city or town; provided, however, that acceptance of said sections by the authority shall not be required.
